One Hungry Toddler

I took the girls to the grocery store today. Lauren loves to go to Kroger because they have the little cars attached to the grocery cart and she can ride up in the front in the red & yellow car and Morgan sits up in the cart at the front with me! So--we were in the store about 1 hour--and I was putting all the stuff in my cart on the conveyor belt so that I could pay and when I look down, Lauren was eating a 100 calorie pack alphabet bite cookies and she had the whole box up front with her! She had opened up the box, taken out a packet, opened the packet and was enjoying her snack and even offered me some! I guess I didn't realize the time and I had one hungry toddler on my hands....

Yummy Bananas!!

I was talking to a good friend of mine yesterday and telling her that Morgan was a very picky eater and could care less about baby food--she suggested mashing up a banana and putting it on her food tray! Well, I did just that today and Morgan LOVED the bananas. So, I may try boiling some carrots tonight and mashing them up and hopefully she'll like those too!!!

Playdate with Isabela

Yesterday we had our friends Paul and Gracie over and their adorable little girl Isabela! Lauren and Isabela got to play a lot!

The Circus

We went to the circus this weekend with Bobby,Sara and Drew! Lauren really enjoyed it--she loved seeing all the animals up close before the circus and she loved watching the actual animals in the circus. She wasn't too interested in the acrobatic portion but she did really well! Daddy bought her some cotton candy and a hat! She loves to wear her new hat around the house now!

Look at my ears!

Dr. Cohen pierced Morgan's ears on Friday! We can't wait to change out the earrings but for 6 weeks we have to use the ones that she has in! Now if we could only get Lauren to stop messing with Morgan's ears!!

Lauren got her hair cut!

Lauren needed to get a trim, so we decided to go to Cool Cuts since we've heard so many good things about it! I kept on asking her all day long to go but she kept on telling me--"I'm busy mommy" but I finally got her in the car and we got there and she loved it! She got to pick out a DVD to watch and of course she picked Barney (that seems to be her favorite this week) and she sat in the yellow car to get her hair cut while she watched Barney! She did really well and didn't want to get out of the car when she was all done!

Family vaction to Port Aransas

We went to Port Aransas last weekend with Bobby, Sara & Drew! The kids really enjoyed it and we had great weather! Lauren wasn't very into the beach--she didn't want to get dirty--she's such a girlie girl! Both Lauren & Morgan had fun in the water!

Morgan is 6 months old!

Morgan is already 6 months old--can you believe it?? One picture is from our trip to Port Aransas--she loved the water and the sand! The second picture is of her trying to move--she wants so badly to crawl so she can keep up with her big sister but she's not quite there yet--she just does a lot of rocking! She's really into babbling right now, she's sitting up on her own still and trying to move! She rolls around to get where she wants to go and scoots around too! She's even got the crawling backwards move down! We went to the doctor on Tuesday and she's doing really well! She weighs 15 lbs. 15 oz. and she is 26 1/2" inches long! She's in the 50th percentile for both her height and weight!
