Lauren's 1st ponytail!!

Lauren's hair is finally long enough to put in a ponytail--so, we tried one today and here are some pictures (I didn't get very many since she refused to look at the camera)! Hopefully she'll be able to wear her hair in a ponytail to school so it won't go everywhere! She's still not too into the whole thing and has tried to pull it out several times but I'm trying to get her used to it! Wish me luck!!

Morgan is 7 months old!!

Can you believe it--Morgan is 7 months old today! She's crawling everywhere and now she's pulling up on everything--where did our little baby go? Here are some pictures of her and one of her and Lauren--enjoy!

Abuelo's 93rd Birthday

On Saturday, we went to the nursing home to celebrate my grandfather's 93rd birthday! We had an ice cream cake and just hung out for a couple of hours with him! He really enjoys when the girls come and see him! Here are some pictures from Saturday.

Active Baby

This morning I woke up very early (6:30 a.m.) because I could hear Morgan talking and moving around on the monitor. I decided to just get up and start my day because I knew she wasn't going to go back to sleep anytime soon! So, I get in there and she's sitting up playing with her mobile and trying to use her bumper to stand up!

Needless to say, I'll be taking the mobile off the crib today and the bumper as well! I don't need her crawling out of her crib!

The Weekend

We went swimming on Saturday at Nana's house--Lauren always enjoys getting in the pool and playing. She likes when daddy throws her up in the air and catches her! Lauren and cousin Drew enjoyed sitting at the picnic table by the pool chatting and playing! Morgan enjoyed laying in her float taking it easy in the pool--she always seems to fall asleep in it!

Last night we went out to dinner with with some of our good friends, Jeremy & Katherine who are expecting twins! Abuela and Aunt Fifi came over to watch the girls while mommy and daddy had a night out and it was very nice!

And we have a crawler...

Morgan starting crawling today--she's still practicing but she's on the go! Here's a little video for you!

Our repetetive Toddler

Lauren is getting more and more grown up everyday! She talks all the time, anytime to anyone--even herself! You really have to watch what you say in front of her because she repeats everything! Her latest thing is to repeat things not once, not twice but at least 10 times until something else distracts her!

She's also very into Mickey Mouse right now--that's all she wants to watch!! We have had just about enough of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse this weekend--hopefully she'll be onto something new tomorrow or the next day! I think I've memorized about every episode--thank goodness for DVR and On Demand!!

So close to crawling

Morgan is so close to crawling--she wants to "go" so badly that she won't go to sleep tonight because she's working on it!!

On another note--she stayed with daddy on Friday night while mommy went out and did so well! She drank 1 oz. from a bottle which is such a big deal since she never takes the bottle (she's been known to go 12 hours with only drinking 1 oz.) and she ate her oatmeal with bananas like a champ! She's very into her Gerber stars (puff cereal) and loves to feed herself! She's definitely not a big fan of food like her big sister but she's getting there!
