Cheers!

Lauren loves to dig in the cabinets when we are in the kitchen making dinner--and yesterday she came across a plastic blue margarita glass! She quickly took it without me noticing it and filled it up with water and the rest is history! This is her favorite glass now!

I love carrots!

Morgan is eating more and more! We've found that the key to getting her to eat is letting her feed herself--although it's quite a mess, we have given in! Here are some pictures of her eating carrots and enjoying them! Notice the nice mess that she has made! Some of her other favorite finger foods are turkey, chicken, cheese puffs, diced peaches, and mandarin oranges!

Making Cupcakes with Mommy!!

We went to Target today and normally Lauren would ask for M & M's but today she wanted cupcakes instead. She got the cupcake mix (got it off the shelf herself) and then we went to pick out frosting and of course she wanted PINK with sprinkles! After lunch today (while Morgan was napping)we decided to bake the cupcakes because that is all she was talking about! Here are some pictures...

Morgan is getting a tooth...

Morgan is getting a tooth and it's really bothering her...she's been chewing on everything and biting me! She's also a little under the weather, she has a full blown cold and she's been tugging at her ears all day long--so, I think she may have an ear infection. I'm going to watch her tomorrow and I may take her to the doctor if she continues fussing! Poor baby!

Playing Dress Up

Here are a couple of pictures of Lauren in her new dress up dress that Aunt Michelle got her this weekend! She calls it her princess dress and doesn't want to take it off! I was planning on dressing her up as a cheerleader but she keeps on telling me that she wants to be a princess now--so, we may be changing her costume! She's such a girlie girl!!

The Girls are Growing Up...

Hope everyone is doing well and made it through Hurricane Ike! We were very lucky and didn't have much damage...the worst part was having no electricity for 4 1/2 days but we made it through!

Morgan is 8 months old now! She's crawling everywhere and getting into everything. She's standing up on everything and cruising and she enjoys her push toys! Her new thing is to stand up and let go--she wants to walk so badly! Morgan is eating more too...she has never really liked baby food--so we are giving her table food instead! Her new favorites are mango, mashed potatoes, bread, guacamole, and waffles!!

Lauren is 2 1/2 now and started school a couple of weeks ago and really likes it! She's going twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday. The last time I dropped her off, she told me to leave and have a good day! She's enjoying playing with her friends there and getting out of the house! When her daddy asked her what she did at school the second day, she quickly told him she learned about apples and played! She's looking forward to going back this week since she was out all last week due to Ike!

Both girls are growing up so quickly! They enjoy playing with each other--Lauren cooks in her kitchen and feeds Morgan!

Lauren's 1st Day of School

I just got back from dropping off Lauren at Mother's Day Out! She was excited to go see her friends and to play! She kept on telling me as we were walking in to her classroom that I was not allowed to go bye-bye--I had to stay with her. She went in to her teacher Mrs. Florence and immediately started playing with her and I snuck out! Here are some pictures from her 1st day!
